From 10.00 am - 4.30 pm Tibetan Monks will be at the Yack Tourist Information Centre Come along for the morning Meditation Sessions (30 minutes) The Monks will also be creating a Sand Mandala over the weekend so come along and watch them and drop in and see their progress anytime over the weekend. Come and say hello - there will be workshops to attend over the weekend if you are interested. ART SHOW: Also local artists will be displaying thier works in the Yack Tourist Information Centre. This year's Featured Artists are: Peter Caddy - Cliff Bennett - Mark Selkrig (Sculptor) (Famous for their creations) Some available for purchase.

cocktails at 8.00pm and snacks. Be here on time as we have
Tibetan Buddhist Monks to officially open the festival & Perform Traditional Tibetan Dance as well. The Sisters
of Perpetual indulgence from Adelaide will also be here to greet you
with a special show well as ANITA BEER with 3 full production
shows also AIDA and her dancers doing 3 shows and 2 DJS
ELENI & GAZBEAR.
Come
as you are to enjoy this action packed night.
Midnight
it's back to the Star Hotel untill 1.00am then on to Java Cafe
till the wee hours for snacks and coffee. | Saturday 6th

settle in for all day breakfast at a cafe, bakery or hotel for a lazy

8.00pm Sharp for Dance Party
We want
everyone here at 8.00pm sharp to share this History Making
experience. The Mayor of the Indigo Shire will open the festival
and welcome all our visitors to the region. then the Monks will
bless the festival with dance in their traditional and fantastic costumes and chant for world peace, with two
D.JS and six full production shows with special guests (to be
announced)
COMEDIAN JOHN WALKER BROUGHT THE HOUSE DOWN AS OUR
MC LAST YEAR. We have asked him back are are waiting for his
reply.

The
now famous WHO'SE YER DADDY FATHERS DAY MARKET AT THE YACK
HALL. TheTibetan Monks will be selling their handicrafts before
they return to their country. Get to know them and if you visit
Nepal or India they can show you around. The market will be full
of homemade goodies with heaps of stalls as in previous years. Revitalise with Tai Chi Qjgong
Sunday morning recovery with a difference!
Come along and re-invigorate yourself with this Ancient Chinese form of excersise that uses slow gentle breathing and movement
to enhance well being and revitalise your life. The workshop will
stimulate your senses and give you energy for the rest of the day.
Local instructor Jay McGough will lead you through this easy to follow, self-healing art.
10.30 am Memorial Park Yackandandah (weather permitting) Gold coin donation please. There
areplenty of things to do around Yackandandah,check our sponsors and
go to the links on our site. Visit the Tourist Information Centre
